WWII veteran, Colonel Seth Heywood receives a special “thank you” from three-year old Hunter Frechette at the Kennebunkport Memorial Day Parade honoring those who died in the line of duty and those who served in the armed forces to ensure peace and freedom throughout the generations.

Hunter is one of the thousands of children in Maine who seek medical treatment at the Barbara Bush Children’s hospital each year.  Communities of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport will be hosting an exciting 3-day fundraiser in August.   The events include a formal gala auction at The Colony Hotel on August 3^rd, an elegant 4-course luncheon at The Cape Arundel Inn on August 4^th, and an exciting kayak/canoe race on the upper basin of the Kennebunk River on August 5^th.  For more information, please contact Joanne Katis at 207-967-5004.
