The moment his life began and ours would change forever. Nothing would ever be the same. Hunter has beautiful light brown hair, blue eyes, and an adorable smile. Hunter is doing well. Just days after his birth he underwent major heart surgery which was a total success. He also had some breathing issues and conquered those as well. Hunter is with us because of God’s guiding hand along with all of his physicians, doctors and family. Hunter is not the child we prayed for, he is a bit different, and he far exceeds anything we had hoped for. Hunter has Down Syndrome. He is special in many ways and has also touched many others. We would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses in the NICU and PICU who were absolutely fabulous and supportive. Hunter is now 2-1/2 years old and full of energy and love.
